Dame Anne Salmond - Patron
Dame Anne Salmond CBE FRSNZ, is a Distinguished Professor of Anthropology and Maori Studies at the University of Auckland and an eminent historian, writer and academic. She is a past Chair of the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. She was elected as a foreign associate in the National Academy of Sciences in 2009 and as a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy in 2008 and in 2007 she became an inaugural Fellow of the New Zealand Academy of the Humanities. She was also elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of New Zealand in 1990.
